What are Nekko desk mats made of?

Our desk mats are crafted from a premium micro-woven cloth surface bonded to a thick non-slip natural rubber base. The cloth surface ensures smooth, consistent mouse tracking while the rubber base keeps the mat firmly in place on any desk - wood, glass, or laminate. All prints use heat-sublimation technology, which bonds ink directly into the fabric fibres so colours stay vivid and never peel or crack.

What sizes are available?

Our standard desk mats are 800mm × 300mm (XL) - large enough to fit your keyboard, mouse, and accessories comfortably side by side. Check individual product pages for exact dimensions, as special edition sizes may vary.

How do I clean my desk mat?

Hand washing is recommended:

  • Use cold or lukewarm water with a small amount of mild liquid detergent
  • Gently scrub the surface with a soft cloth or sponge
  • Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear
  • Lay flat to air dry, do not wring, machine wash, or tumble dry
  • Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals, which can fade the print

Your mat will be back to looking great within a few hours.

Will the print fade over time?

No. We use heat-sublimation printing, which fuses ink directly into the fabric fibres rather than sitting on top. This means the print won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. With proper care (gentle washing, no bleach), your Nekko desk mat should look vibrant for years.

Orders & Shipping

How long does delivery take?

Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days. Delivery times within India:

  • Metro cities (Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata): 3–5 business days
  • Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities: 5–7 business days
  • Remote areas: 7–10 business days

You will receive a tracking link via email as soon as your order ships.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free on all orders across India. No minimum order value required — every desk mat ships to your door at no extra charge.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking link via email. You can also log into your Nekko account and go to Orders to see real-time tracking. If you checked out as a guest, use the link in your shipping confirmation email.

Do you ship outside India?

We currently ship within India only. International shipping is something we're actively working towards. If you're based outside India and would like to order, email us at support@nekko.in and we'll notify you as soon as international delivery is available.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

We process orders quickly. If you need to make changes, contact us at support@nekko.in within 24 hours of placing your order. After that, the order may already be packed and ready for dispatch. Once shipped, cancellations and modifications are no longer possible. Special cases may be handled per order basis, for that contact us at support@nekko.in.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

We offer a 15-day return window from the date of delivery. To be eligible:

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition
  • Original packaging should be intact
  • Your order number is required as proof of purchase
  • Video and Image evidence of the unboxing of the package is required in the case of damaged or wrong products delivered.

To start a return, email support@nekko.in with your order number and reason. We'll guide you through the next steps.

My order arrived damaged or incorrect — what do I do?

We're sorry to hear that! Please email support@nekko.in within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos and unboxing video of the damaged or incorrect item and its packaging

We'll arrange a free replacement or a full refund — whichever you prefer — at no extra cost.

How long do refunds take?

Once your return is received and reviewed, we'll send you a confirmation email. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. UPI and wallet refunds are typically faster than card refunds.

Are any items non-returnable?

Items clearly marked as Clearance Sale cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective. This will always be indicated on the product page before purchase. All other products qualify for returns within 15 days.

Designs & Licensing

Are your designs officially licensed?

No - Nekko is an independent design brand and our products are not officially licensed merchandise. Our designs are original fan-art interpretations created in-house, inspired by the anime, architecture, and pop culture universes we love. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any IP holders such as Shueisha, MAPPA, or Warner Bros / DC Comics.

Who creates the artwork on your desk mats?

Every design sold on Nekko is originally created by our in-house design team. We take care to ensure our artwork is our own creative interpretation - not copied or reproduced from official source material. Our designers are passionate fans who bring their own artistic voice to every piece.

Can I request a custom design?

We love hearing ideas from our community! While we don't currently offer made-to-order custom desk mats, we do take inspiration from customer suggestions when planning new collections. Drop your idea to support@nekko.in, it might just become our next design.
